Man in NY restaurant threatens to call ICE on people speaking Spanish

An angry white man threatened to call federal immigration authorities on Latino workers at a NY restaurant because they had the audacity to speak Spanish within earshot of him.

Speaking to the New York Daily News, the manager told the outlet that Schlossberg misread the situation, as a regular customer at the establishment was simply having a conversation with a Hispanic employee.

When the worker tried to answer him they are bilingual and therefore they speak in both languages, the man did not accept it: "This is America", he exclaimed. She said she called police for a public disturbance during the incident, but the man left the scene.

"My guess is, they're not documented, so my next call is to ICE to have each one of them kicked out of my country", he says.

Aaron Schlossberg went on to say that the employee and customer had the "balls" to live in the United States while he paid for their welfare and their "ability to be here".
