Teacher suspended over 'relationship' with boy, 17, is shot dead in driveway

Her death occurred only six months since she was suspended from her position as a teacher at the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School after a police report was leaked that contained information about her and and the teen. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The email pointed to the police report and said that DelTondo was in a "relationship" with the boy.

According to reports, an anonymous October email tipped off school officials to the 2016 incident.

Ms DelTondo was suspended last November from the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School.

The report, which was reportedly written by an Aliquippa officer, and later confirmed to The Beaver Countian by law enforcement officials as being authentic, described DelTondo as being in a parked auto with steamed windows alongside a 17-year-old student of hers.

'I don't know why that happened. "We had a young woman, 33-years-old, shot to death on the driveway of her mother's house on Mother's Day evening", said Beaver County District Attorney David Lozier.

One of her neighbours reported that he had heard the incident take place. She had told police the boy had called her because "he was upset and needed someone to take to". No charges were filed. The report was not public knowledge until the anonymous email was sent in October previous year. School officials only found out about the incident in October 2017, and later learned that the teenager was never a student at PA Cyber.

The email included the police report and a note that DelTondo and the teen had a "relationship" over text messages and Snapchat messages.

After receiving the email, her school announced that she was being suspended and "removed from the classroom pending an investigation". Childline is part of a mandated statewide child protective services program, which transmits information to appropriate investigative agencies. Police are still searching for the suspect and are actively investigating the incident as a homicide, WPXI reported.

Wayans shared a photo of an illustration of the " Rectify " alum with the caption, " Clayne Crawford is an emotional terrorist". Wayans kept quiet about his co-star until Monday evening, when he launched a series of allegations against him on social media.

The leak led to a state investigation of the Aliquippa Police Department, and DelTondo cooperated with that investigation, CBS News reported.

Rachael DelTondo was supposed to tie the knot in 2017, but only four months later, the wedding was called off.

Brian Hayden, the CEO of Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School, released a statement about DelTondo's death.

"We were saddened to learn of the tragic death of Rachel DelTondo, apparently the result of a violent incident in the City of Aliquippa". "We express our sympathy to her family and coworkers and will support them in any way possible in the weeks and months ahead as they mourn her passing".

Last year, DelTondo was featured on a Get Marty report in a dispute over her custom wedding dress.

The teacher was planning a big, elaborate wedding with her Italian-American family, which included a $10,000, custom-made dress from a NY designer, CBS Local reported. It was handmade by a NY designer and required a non-refundable $4,000 deposit.

When the designer did not appear in court, a judge ruled that he should pay the DelTondos over $4,600. She added that her fiancé did not know where she was, and would only be "mad" if he found out.
