Jason Witten predicts Dez Bryant will sign with the Packers

"I think Dez is certainly going to have some great opportunities".

Longtime Cowboys tight end Jason Witten, who recently retired for a job in ESPN's Monday Night Football booth, weighed in on his former teammate on a recent addition of The Adam Schefter Podcast.

The former Dallas Cowboys tight end predicted former teammate and now unemployed receiver Dez Bryant would sign with the Packers, calling Green Bay a "great fit" for the Cowboys' all-time leader in touchdown catches, but the team isn't expected to pursue him, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

He sees the veteran wideout going to Green Bay.

Bryant isn't the man-handler of cornerbacks he used to be and he was never a speed receiver to begin with, but he's still a big, physical receiver who wins at the catch point and will run hard after the catch. Even more are anxious that the Packers don't have enough weapons for Aaron Rodgers to use. "So, you partner him up with Jimmy Graham and Aaron Rodgers, I think that offense can put up a lot of points". Green Bay already has a solid receiving corps even with the recent departure of Nelson who signed with the Oakland Raiders after his release.

After 15 seasons of making hay in the National Football League, former Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten is now churning the National Football League rumor mill.

Ireland U17 goalkeeper gets sent off... during a penalty shootout
Alas, for the Irish, referee Zbynek Proske judged Corcoran (correctly) to have been well off his line when making the save. When play resumed, captain Redan made no mistake from the retake and fired the Netherlands into the semifinals.

Other teams that were mentioned as potential landing spots throughout the free agency process thus far for Bryant were the Baltimore Ravens and New Orleans Saints.

Here's five reasons why the Packers should sign Dez Bryant.

A team will give Bryant a chance, but it probably won't be for the money Bryant is looking for. That's a vertical passing attack.

Bailey missed four games with a groin injury last season and only made 75 percent of his field goal attempts when he was healthy.

The 29-year old Bryant was released by the Cowboys in mid-April following a 69-reception, 838-yard season.
