The model had asked the judge to let her keep the guitar after denying she gave it to Silva as a gift.

Frances Bean's ex husband has been allowed to keep Kurt Cobain's MTV Unplugged guitar.

According to The Pulse Of Radio, Frances Bean Cobain has reached a settlement over the division of property in her divorce from ex-husband Isaiah Silva.

The rightful owner of the guitar has been a major point of contention throughout the two years of divorce proceedings. Originally given to her for safekeeping, the guitar is thought to be worth millions of dollars. It is also supposedly the last one Kurt played before his passing and was reportedly meant to stay within the family.

TMZ said Cobain is not required to pay spousal support and that Silva must pay his own legal fees.

KURT Cobain's daughter Frances Bean has been forced to hand over one of her dad's famous guitars as part of her divorce.

New Kurt Cobain death-scene photos will not be released, court rules

The court ruled the photographs are exempt from Washington state's Public Records Act and releasing the photos would "violate the Cobain family's due process rights under the 14th Amendment of the United States Constitution".

Photographs showing Kurt Cobain's body after he killed himself are to remain sealed, a court in his hometown of Seattle, Washington has ruled.

Lee sued the city of Seattle and its police department in 2014 and is described by the courts as "a conspiracy theorist who believes that Mr. Cobain was murdered".

"It's not [Isaiah's] to take", Love said.

The couple had been together for roughly five years and married for less than two when Frances chose to file for divorce back in March 2016.

Meanwhile, Frances opened up to E! about her father at the Daily Front Row Fashion Awards at the Beverly Hills Hotel's Crystal Ballroom earlier this month.
