After being reintroduced to the world as a "LeBron Stopper", it would've been easy for Marcus Morris to take credit for how much LeBron James struggled in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The Cavs came into Sunday making an average of 10.8 3-pointers per game on 35.1 percent shooting this postseason. Morris probably won't light it up like that again but the Cavs don't have any defensive stoppers outside of James and no rim protection, so the Celtics should feast each night. The Celtics, who keep handling every situation thrown at them regardless of who might be available to play, know what they are likely to be up against in Game 2. When they did give up the switch, it was with objective and with a plan for how to hold their own against the mismatch, without selling out the defensive scheme to adjust, and also while making the Cavaliers offense work for that switch and use up precious seconds on the shot clock before beginning to work against the mismatch.

And so, it was not just a man-to-man guarding, a double-teaming or a triple-teaming defense but, seemingly, all five greenshirts on the parquet floor were swarming all over James. "We weren't as aggressive as we should've been".

But the real way that Boston was able to impact Cleveland's offense was through solid execution on their own offensive end.
