The biggest question that many now have about Battlefield V is the era in which the game will take place.

EA has big news regarding Battlefield V coming on May 23, and the company has revealed more information on their live reveal event as well as how to watch it. "On the Battlefield V Live Reveal, the team developing the game will share their vision".

As Battlefield 1 is turning two later this year, many people have been expecting the reveal of a new Battlefield game for late 2018. Noah revealed shared the news on Twitter earlier in the day that he'd be hosting the reveal on May 23, though the Battlefield V name wasn't mentioned at the time. EA and DICE will be live streaming the reveal to the world via YouTube, Twitch, and other streaming services beginning at 4PM ET/1PM PT.

While DICE and Electronic Arts have yet to openly acknowledge any actual gameplay details related to Battlefield V, that hasn't stopped the Internet rumor mill from churning out a steady stream of speculation regarding the forthcoming release.

As to what Battlefield V will be about, your guess is as good as mine. While this usually is a given, with competing military shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 rumoured to forsake a single-player campaign and throw in a battle royale mode instead, it's heartening to see EA throw fans of single-player experiences something to bother with.
