Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody gets a first trailer

Hits including "Another One Bites the Dust", "Killer Queen", "We Will Rock You" and, of course, "Bohemian Rhapsody" get an airing in the trailer, released on Tuesday by 20th Century Fox. Get backstage sneak peeks and a true view into our world as the fun and games unfold.

It begins with the idea of how Mercury changed Queen's music and ends at the legendary Live Aid concert of 1985, six years before the death of Mercury.

Though it's still hard to tell what exact focus the film will take on Mercury's life, the clips seem to indicate it will take a wide view focusing on his rise to fame, risk-taking musicality, and private life.

"Bohemian Rhapsody" is a new Queen biopic set to premiere this fall. One would have thought they might have used the song 'Bohemian Rhapsody' itself, however, 'We Will Rock You, ' works perfectly.

And then the film faced further difficulties after director Bryan Singer was sacked, with Kick Ass helmsman Dexter Fletcher taking over.

Here's the official synopsis for Bohemian Rhapsody: "Bohemian Rhapsody is a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury, who defied stereotypes and shattered convention to become one of the most beloved entertainers on the planet".

According to The Hollywood Reporter, and sources associated with filming, it was Singer's constant absence and unreliability during production that led to Malek complaining to the studio, "charging Singer with not being present on set, unreliability and unprofessionalism". They're'represented on screen too, with Ben Hardy, Joseph Mazzello and Gwilym Lee as Taylor, John Deacon and May respectively.

Bohemian Rhapsody releases on November 2, 2018.
