Baker Mayfield is poised to be one of the first quarterbacks to be picked in Thursday's National Football League draft - and may even go No. 1 overall to the Cleveland Browns.

If Baker Mayfield's social media posts are any indication, the 2017 Heisman Trophy victor isn't stressed about the NFL Draft on Thursday.

Mayfield certainly has that same gunslinger mentality on the field.

Mayfield posted the photo on his personal Instagram page along with a quote from Favre.

The classic photo shows Favre lying on a bed surrounded by friends and family as he took the draft night call from the Atlanta Falcons.

Most of the pre-draft talk had been centered around the Browns deciding between USC's Sam Darnold and Wyoming's Josh Allen for their first of two top-five picks, but ESPN's Adam Schefter noted this morning the Oklahoma star is firmly in the running, too.

"Good luck tonight....and keep in mind to send my Jorts back tomorrow", Favre tweeted at Mayfield on Thursday morning, hours before the NFL draft begins (7 p.m., FOX, ESPN, NFL Network). "And then there are those people that no matter what you do they're going to dislike you and that's not going to change", Mayfield tweeted.

The 2018 NFL Draft starts Thursday at 8 p.m., held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The Favre homage appears to be a promo for Mayfield's Facebook series, "Behind Baker".
