Snapchat will soon be gaining a set of augmented reality games called Snappables, Snap announced today. Snappables are augmented reality-based games that let you compete with your friends uses Lenses.

Users can control Snappbles using their facial expressions, movements and touch gestures.

According to SnapChat, Snappables live right where Lenses do. Just choose one and get your game face on! They can then invite their friends, no matter where they are, to join the game. New Snappables will release every week.

Snapchat is designed for the iPhone and can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.

As witnessed in the Snappables trailer, you can fight aliens in an Space Invaders-style game by moving your head around, or pump iron at the gym with your eyebrows.
