Bills not expected to trade up to No. 2 pick

I would have no problem if the Bills drafted Rudolph.

There hasn't been much talk about the Bills holding an interest in moving into the second overall spot, especially with it likely requiring them to move several high draft picks to get that to that position.

For months, many had believed the team who would try to make the most aggressive attempt to land the New York Giants' No. 2 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft would be the Buffalo Bills. Bills general manager Brandon Beane dispelled these rumors during an appearance on WGR550's One Bills Live on Monday, stating that they're "not true". The Cleveland Browns hold both the draft's first and fourth pick and could walk away with a starting quarterback as well as a player such as Penn State's Saquon Barkley or Notre Dame guard Quenton Nelson. They are said to be deciding between Darnold and Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen, though general manager John Dorsey included Barkley in the mix.

In other words, the Giants are in a place where they don't necessarily need a home run selection but could benefit from multiple picks in the first round and on Day 2. "That can get you into the playoffs in a hurry".
