Hotel Artemis Trailer: Jodie Foster Runs a Hospital For Criminals

In the new, near future-set, action-thriller Hotel Artemis, Jodie Foster (Silence of the Lambs) plays a character called The Nurse who runs a secret, members-only hospital for criminals.

This action-heavy thriller is led by a stacked cast including Jeff Goldblum, Sterling K. Brown, Atlanta's Brian Tyree Henry, Sofia Boutella, Charlie Day, Dave Bautista, and Jenny Slate. Instead of offering a comfy bed, a good night's sleep, and a mediocre breakfast served buffet-style like its name would suggest, Hotel Artemis stitches up delinquents in peace and privacy. Foster gives an ominous one-liner explaining the hush-hush policy: "This hospital was built on two things: trust, and rules".

What do you think of this trailer for first-time director Drew Pearce (who is known for writing scripts for films like Iron Man 3 and Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation)? Pearce makes his feature length directing debut with the film, which is based on an original story and screenplay that he wrote.

Halavurt said he believed Brunson would ultimately be acquitted, and there was no reason for his continued detention during trial. His wife was in the courtroom, as were North Carolina Senator Thom Tillis and USA envoy for religious freedom Sam Brownback.

Comparisons to John Wick will no doubt be made here, as the setup of Hotel Artemis feels quite similar to the network of hotels that populate the John Wick universe.

From there it seems the rag-tag crew of criminals have to fight their way out of the hotel before The Wolf King (Jeff Goldblum) finds them. Watch the full trailer above. Sound familiar? Perhaps the first Hotel Artemis trailer will ring a few bells.

Hotel Artemis is set for release on June 8th.
