The "Baby" singer yelled at the man to let the woman go after he grabbed her throat, and struck him when did not, reports TMZ.

That was too much for Bieber, who reportedly slugged the guy in the face and pushed him against the wall, causing him to release his grip and allowing the woman to break free of his grasp.

The alleged altercation took place at a party hosted by Patrick Schwarzenneger on the night of April 14.

Some claim the man who grabbed the woman was on the drugs. Justin was talking to some people when a guy walked in, spotted a woman. and went ballistic. That's when Bieber and a few friends stepped in, and started screaming at the man to let her go - though the guy only allegedly screamed "Go fuck yourself" in response.

TMZ have reported that the man was kicked out of the party, and soon after chased an SUV down the road, believing Bieber was inside.

Authorities eventually arrived and arrested him.

He was even seen happily posing for some photos with "Yodel Boy" Mason Ramsey who made an appearance at the festival after going viral for yodelling in Walmart.
