HIs first week in the city of Angels will be a memorable one, not only for Ohtani but for any general baseball fan. He started five games for the Angels last season and was 1-2 with a 7.06 ERA and a 1.66 WHIP.

Following his Sunday start, he was given a rest on Monday. Ohtani steps in to face Tomlin with 2 out and bases loaded in the bottom of the first. Kole Calhoun had a two-run single to put the game away in the top of the ninth. On a 2-2 count, Tomlin left a curveball in the zone and Ohtani turned and launched in 397 ft to right-center field. In the 7th Shohei Ohtani tripled driving 3 runs.

Ohanti is just the third player in Major League Baseball history to record two wins and hit three home runs in his team's first 10 games of a season, and the first to do so since 1919.

On Wednesday night Shohei Ohtani started the scoring with an RBI single to take a 1-0 lead.

The Royals had walked Ohtani intentionally in the sixth with first base open and Simmons on second.

The Royals have been the opposite of the Angels this season, falling to 3-8 overall and 1-5 at home following Thursday's loss.
