Microsoft Announces Conference Details For E3 2018

On Wednesday, Microsoft announced that E3 2018 will be the "biggest showing ever" for the Xbox brand.

For those that may not know the area, don't panic, the Microsoft Theatre is literally across the street from the convention center. The new avatars are designed in the Unity engine, making it a lot easier to customize them and add additional props. It certainly fits with Phil Spencer's continued insistence that cross-play between the PS4 and Xbox is something Microsoft is completely open to.

The Verge says Microsoft will roll out the avatars, which offer far greater customisation options and more inclusive body types, to all users during the month of April.

Microsoft is nearly ready to unleash the new, revamped Xbox avatars on gamers across the world, according to reports on Wednesday.

Fortunately, we don't have to invent a reason to talk about them all at once. Most importantly, Ninja asked Drake what he thinks about pineapple on pizza.

Elsewhere, Croatia's Borna Coric blasted nine aces as he outlasted American Taylor Fritz 6-2, 6-7 (6/8), 6-4. In the victory, Federer won 100 percent of his first serve points and 79 percent of his second serve points.

Right-wing hate group Britain First banned from Facebook
In the latest part of its clean-up exercise, Facebook has removed pages of the far-right, anti-Islamic group Britain First . Facebook said that its community standards bans hate speech and it attempts to remove such content as fast as possible.

Microsoft and Xbox will still have a presence at the main LACC with a Mixer booth where show attendees can stream games, interact with new titles, and catch up on the E3 news live.

According to Microsoft, it is "creating an entirely new show experience" that will cater to both those who attend E3 and those who watch the proceedings virtually.

Xbox is without a doubt one of the most powerful consoles available in the market so they need to bring new exclusive games to make use of their powerful hardware. However, Mike Ybarra, Microsoft's corporate VP of gaming, said on Twitter that the company has no firm release date yet and shipment will depend on what kind of feedback it gets. Since the start, Xbox One failed to gain traction among the players - thanks to its hefty $500 price tag. Where it will, "let fans in on what we're up to in 2018 and beyond in a fresh new way".

Hopefully, the E3 2018 will trigger the boost that Microsoft has always been waiting for.
