Nawazuddin Siddiqui, wife summoned by Thane police in Call Data Record scam


Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui had found himself in the midst of a controversy a few months ago when he made some shocking revelations about his personal life in his biography titled "An Ordinary Life".

Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui who got involved in the Call Detail Record (CDR) scam yesterday, has now rubbished dismissed the claims slapped against him. Nawaz was accused of spying on his wife with help of a local detective. "He had sought his wife's CDR", said a police source, adding he is among hundreds of people who have been called for questioning. After Nawazuddin expressed disgust over the accusation and called them "random allegations", his wife has now come out in his support.

Aaliya wrote that she and Nawazuddin have been the topic of several media speculations, from divorce to rumours that they have been living separately.

"To my surprise, the media had questions about some random allegations on me #Disgust", tweeted Nawaz and he even posted some pictures with his daughter showcasing getting engrossed in the project with her dad. He was summoned before Thane crime branch on Friday but failed to appear.
