OnePlus 5T gets Android 8.1 Oreo beta, gaming mode and more


This new open beta is supposed to be based on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo update for its current flagship phones.

According to the official OnePlus forums, the changelog of the latest Open Beta 5 for the OnePlus 5T upgrades the system to Android 8.1 Oreo.

The new Beta update for OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5t includes February security patch and the brand new version of OnePlus Switch app which enable users to switch between devices much quicker.

OxygenOS Oreo 8.1 is the sixth update to the already existing beta program. However, it is noteworthy that the update, now is available only for the OnePlus 5T beta users only. The update brings some cool features to the already interesting smartphone.
