Team USA dominates men's big air qualification runs

Zoi Sadowski-Synnott, the 16-year-old from New Zealand, had a huge showing and walked away with a bronze after landing one of our personal favorites, a double Wildcat and backing it up with a solid jump for a combined score of 157.50. With four gold medals - Chloe Kim and Shaun White in halfpipe and Red Gerard and Jamie Anderson in slopestyle - the United States has been about as dominant in snowboarding as any team has been in any sport in PyeongChang.

Gasser was one of the few who didn't hold back in this year's slopestyle event, which was plagued by terrible weather conditions.

For the first time ever, women will have the chance to test their skills in snowboarding's most exciting event at the Winter Olympics.

"As athletes we always want to do our best, so if you don't do your best you don't feel that good about it", O'Brien said. Prior to that, Gasser won silver at the 2017 Winter X Games and bronze at the 2017 Winter X Games Europe.

The Japanese duo of Yuka Fujimori and Reira Iwabuchi may be the stiffest competition for Gasser.

Aimee Fuller says crashing out of the Big Air was "absolutely gutting" but hadn't lost her trademark smile after another disappointing day in Pyeongchang.

Zindel's estate are baseless, wholly without merit, and we will be filing a motion to dismiss", a Fox Searchlight spokesman said . She becomes infatuated with a "fantastic, intelligent aquatic creature held captive in a glass tank".

Kiper sticking with quarterback Josh Allen as Browns' top pick
Kiper went to great lengths to defend Allen's 56.3 percent college completion percentage on a conference call with reporters. Mayfield, the 2017 Heisman Trophy victor , put up huge numbers for the Sooners and measured 6-0 at the Senior Bowl.

Once you find the big pile of snow, you've found big air.

Anderson, who flew under the radar entering the final after qualifying fifth, put her rivals under pressure with her first two of three jumps scoring 90.00 and 87.25.

Anderson made a batch of ghee back at her California home, near Lake Tahoe, and brought a whole jar with to PyeongChang.

In addition to Anderson, two other Americans reached Wednesday's final.

The fact the scores reset ahead of the final could be a big equalizer for the rest of the field as somebody looks to dethrone Gasser. Her big showing in Thursday's big air competition marks the end of her Olympics - which is probably a good thing.

For those reasons, Gasser gets the nod to collect her first Olympic gold medal.
