Strengthening economic links will top the agenda when Iranian President Hassan Rouhani kicks off three days of dialogue in India today.
"Rouhani is scheduled to address Muslim intellectuals, scholars and clerics at 6.30 pm", an official source was quoted as saying by PTI.
After offering Friday prayers, Rouhani will address a congregation at the historic Mecca Masjid in Hyderabad.
Rouhani's three-day visit is his first to India since he took office in August 2013.

The external affairs ministry had said earlier that during the visit of the president of Iran, both sides would review the progress achieved in bilateral relations and also exchange views on regional and worldwide issues of mutual interest.
Citing the Iran president's deputy chief of staff for communications and information Parviz Esmaeili, Irna said following the delegation-level talks on Saturday, both sides will sign a number of agreements.
