Bajrang Dal protests against V Day in Hyderabad

According to reports, Bajrang Dal (BD) activists raided parks and hotels in the state's Pilibhit town, about 300 km from here, and "apprehended" several couples and handed them over to the police.

The VHP claimed it only asked the couples to leave the spot, a popular hangout place for youngsters, and that its members did not attack anyone.

Also, Bajrang Dal's activists took out a rally against the celebration of Valentine's Day threatening that no couples should roam around in Maharashtra's Nagpur on Tuesday. The Abid Road police said there was no untoward incident reported at the time of protest.

Bajrang Dal members, in various parts of the city, also staged a protest.
