The annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue just hit stands, and it's more smokin' - and inclusive - than ever!

The Needham native posed for the magazine's new "In Her Own Words" platform that hopes to showcase the "voice, the strength and the passion" of its models.

"She owned every single second of her shoot", Day continued.

Now, one of the cast's plus-size models - Hunter McGrady - has spoken out about what the provocative photoshoot means to her. "All different sizes, all different walks of life, all different ages, all different experiences, and all talking about the one thing we had in common - The pressure we felt by society to change and fit the norm", writes McGrady.

However, McGrady says that she realised nothing was more disheartening than trying to be someone she's not, and as such, embraced the concept behind the "In Her Words" spread entirely. "I can't wait for everyone to see it".

Raisman, who also participated in last year's Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition, covered her body with phrases like "survivor", "trust yourself", "live for you", and "abuse is never okay". Fierce. Human. Lover. Real. "None of it was sexy or coy, just vulnerable and honest".

London [U.K.], February 14: Sports Illustrated Swimsuit revealed its new cover star for 2018 edition on Tuesday - Danielle Herrington. I am so beyond honored to be a part of this handsome group of women who stand for representation, inclusivity, diversity, and strength.

The SI swimsuit issue is the very definition of the objectification of women.

Not surprisingly, she was also heavily inspired by Tyra Banks who was the first black woman to grace the cover in 1997, followed by Beyonce in 2007.

Ex-USA gymnast Alexandra Raisman has posed naked with the words "women do not have to be modest to be respected" written on her.

The model appears in black and white photos that show her both kneeling with her hands on the floor, and standing up from behind.
