Astronomers spot Elon Musk's cosmic Tesla Roadster flying through our solar system

"So space can get a Tesla delivery, but we can't?" you can envision some Model 3 pre-order customers - who slapped down $1,000 for the privilege - saying. This payload means that Falcon Heavy offers increased possibilities for SpaceX, including the launch of bigger satellites for US intelligence and military, launching large batches of satellites (i.e.to help deliver global broadband), sending bigger robots to Mars or the outer planets of Jupiter, Saturn and their moons, and the transportation and launch of huge telescopes.

You can only imagine what the aliens will think when they figure out how to listen to that, then a bit later find Starman and Musk's auto.

Thankfully for kids and adults alike, SpaceX is planning at least two more launches for later this year.

The vehicle is not on some scientific voyage.

However, keeping positive, SpaceX said, "Even if we do not complete all of the experimental milestones that are being attempted during this test, we will still be gathering critical data".

As incredible as it seems, there's now a Tesla Roadster in space.

"This rocket was meant to test very high retrothrust landing in water so it didn't hurt the droneship, but amazingly it has survived", Musk said. The images looked as if they were plucked from science fiction.

Elon Musk has not said what the next mission will be for SpaceX. We'd have way better CGI if it was fake. Tesla announced this week a loss of for the last quarter.

"It was a tight game, there was nothing in it really, there was action in both boxes but we were not almost as good as we have been of late", their manager Sean Dyche said.

Vigil scheduled for Colten Boushie
Meanwhile, rallies and vigils are planned across the country in support of Boushie's family - including in Saskatoon and Regina. The legal system has failed him, and our hearts are with his family, Red Pheasant First Nation and the people of Saskatchewan .

In the near term, this should enable some cheaper military launches, and might also allow NASA to conduct more frequent research missions into deep space. Astronomers have been hard at work pinning down exactly what path they will take. After surviving a six-hour journey through the Earth's Van Allen radiation belt, the Roadster has already shot past the orbit of Mars and into the asteroid belt.

But now experts say that probably won't happen.

In the meantime, with the Heavy demo out of the way, Musk said SpaceX is putting its commercial crew effort for NASA front and center.

Also includes a Hot Wheels toy model Roadster on the car's dash with a mini-Starman inside.

That's based on current projections, but things can always change. As multi-staged rockets ascend, boosters become fuelless and are detached, making the rocket lighter and subsequently giving way to the activation of second or third boosters and so on.

Many believe that objects like asteroids towards the edges of our solar system could possibly contain expensive and rare materials, but so far there has been no way to get a hold of the objects and bring them back to Earth.

McDowell explained that the error apparently arose when someone at SpaceX used an orbital parameter called C3 - a measure of the velocity needed to escape Earth's gravity - to determine the shape of the Roadster's orbit "and goofed while doing it".
