LG V30s launching at MWC with 256GB storage & LG Lens in tow


South Korean electronics giant LG has been rumoured to launch a new smartphone at MWC 2018, to be held at Barcelona.

Being the new generation premium smartphone, the LG V30s smartphone carries a bunch of highly advanced technical features.

A report from ETNews claims that the "LG V30s" will be the company's next release, and it'll pack a small handful of changes from the standard variant. Yes, the new LG V30s smartphone would be an expensive one which you might have been waiting for. The V30s will look similar to the standard V30 that debuted previous year, but it'll offer a significant new feature called LG Lens.

In addition to this LG Lens feature, the LG V30s will come with 256GB of built-in storage. The battery capacity of the upcoming LG phone is said to be 3300mAh. The company has even denied on launching the new LG G7 smartphone in nearby future.

A new variant of V30 will give LG the much-needed time to work on the G7, whose development is said to have been restarted from scratch. Well, this LG V30s carries the same storage option with half the price of the Signature Edition of its predecessor which is a good thing. It will function similar to Bixby Vision on the Galaxy S8 and Note 8 smartphones and Google Lens on the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. The feature allegedly utilizes the LG V30s' camera and AI to show product details and online shopping info. When a user takes a photo of English text using V30s LG Lens enabled camera, the text will be automatically translated in preferred language. As per the news, the company will unveil this phone at Mobile World Congress and would make it available for purchase from Korea on March 9.

LG is rumored to be announcing a revised version of the LG V30 at MWC and we're now hearing more about what that phone might offer.

LG confirmed to the Korean Herald that the company does plan to showcase new features at MWC 2018, but did not reveal whether a new device will be unveiled.
