Apply online for NEET by March 9


The online application process has started and will end on March 9, 2018.

Central Board of Secondary Education i.e. CBSE as an efficient and responsible conducting body of NEET 2018 has released the official notification online on aforesaid web portal. Aadhaar number is mandatory for all except those from Assam, Jammu and Kashmir and Meghalaya. NEET /National Entrance Eligibility Test it is the Entrance exam for various Medical and Agricultural and Other Courses.

Chennai: NEET 2018 exam for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses is all set to be held on 6 May. Yearly a huge number of candidates are going to appear for the test. Candidates compete to get admission into various medical courses such as MBBS/BDS in Medical & Dental Colleges with the approval of Medical courses of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

The candidates are supposed to apply online.

Candidates who are waiting for the application form could now submit their application on the official website of CBSE.

Since previous year, CBSE made Aadhaar card mandatory for registration.

The mode of filling the application form is online. If the detail provided by the candidate in their application does not match with the information provided in the Aadhaar ID, their application will be rejected. The candidates can check the official notification and information bulletin from the official website. Age relaxation criteria for NEET 2018 has been granted to be 5 years for candidates belonging to reserved category.

AGE LIMIT: The applicants must have completed age of 17 years as on 31.12.2018, while the upper age limit shall be 25 years as on date of examination.

Students who have passed subjects physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology and English and obtained a minimum of 50 percent marks taken together in physics, chemistry and biology or biotechnology will be eligible to apply.

NEET will be conducted as a single paper comprising of 180 objective type questions.

Educational Qualifications - Students should pass in 12th and its Equivalent examinations at least 50% Qualifying marks for general and ST Sc category should have 40% qualifying marks.
