Metal Gear Survive Beta Returns Next Week, Adds PC

Fortunately for those wary of the new direction, Konami is hosting another beta test for Metal Gear Survive, and we've got information on how to sign up and which dates to look forward to featured below. Players will be able to experience both a single player campaign and co-op of up to four players.

As the image there suggests, this is Metal Gear Survive's second beta, but the first to feature on PC. The betas have so far only been available on console. Internet connection will still be required for the beta. During the beta, players who complete character creation will be rewarded with an in-game bonus that will carry over to the full game. The likelihood of stopping undead mobs with chain link fencing echoes Shaun of the Dead's Winchester strategy, mind you, but I guess I'll dive into the beta and see how its fortress-building works in practice. During the beta, we will also offer special daily missions. Some items in the game are also from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain which is neat.

However, the ministry stressed that it is not illegal for Israelis to visit the Indian Ocean island nation. Tourism now dominates the economy, with wealthy foreigners flown to hyper-expensive resort islands.

There won't be too long a wait between when the beta closes and the full game releases, as Metal Gear Survive is strapped and prepared to land on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on Wednesday, February 21. Of course, it's safe to presume that there will be many devout Metal Gear fans who will maintain a hard stance against supporting Konami after its aforementioned high profile divorce from Kojima. Keep in mind that save data will not be transferable to the full game.
