Pari teaser: This frightening teaser proves why it's not a fairy tale

Anushka Sharma took to Twitter to release the teaser and wrote, "Here's a REMINDER".

The teaser of Anushka Sharma's upcoming film Pari just released and man, it will make you go pale with fear! "This is not a fairytale". This 52 seconds teaser will give you all the creeps and chill, as while the trailer was being played I could hear squeaks and screams of my colleagues! The background music, which an eminent part of any scary movie, is on- point in this flick too.

The poster that was released on 6 February featured the male lead, Parambrata Chatterjee (who was previously seen in Kahaani).

Set in the backdrop of Kolkata, Pari is a horror film with a mysterious back-story. The Padmaavat actor commented on Anushka's post that shared the teaser writing, "Arre BAAAAAAP re" followed by the emoticon of a skull.

The supernatural thriller is Anushka Sharma's third production with her company Clean Slate Films. The literal meaning of the title is "Fairy", but the makers caution audience upfront with its tagline, "not a fairytale". The treatment and production of this film seems to be right places and that's the reason why it feels like we can expect a thrilling horror from a Bollywood filmmaker after a long time.
