In the song "Boss Life" that features YFN Lucci and Offset, the Migos rapper delivers a line that said: "I can not vibe with queers". In a lengthy apology issued earlier this month (Jan18), Offset said, "I have said before. that I got love for all people".
'My passion for fashion has lead me to a lot of gay people around me who I have mad respect for and we are very cool so I'm not in a place where I'm hating like that'.
Cardi B later went on Periscope, which you can view above, to defend her man stating that: "I'm not going to let somebody call him "homophobic" when I know that he's not".

On being halfway through with filming: "It's the final season, and it's a long one so we're taking our time". Dinklage confirmed that they were now around halfway through filming.
Who is Om Prakash Rawat?
Former finance secretary Ashok Lavasa was appointed Election Commissioner to fill up the vacancy in the three-member commission. He also served as principal secretary to Babu Lal Gaur, the then chief minister of Madhya Pradesh between 2004 and 2006.
US Senate votes to end gov't shutdown, bill goes to House
The legislation is expected to restore a programme for young immigrants brought to the United States illegally as children. With the negotiations focused on the Senate, President Trump used Twitter to interject his opinion.
Cardi took to Periscope to defend Offset's claim that he was unaware "queer" was a slur for gay people when he rapped, "I can not vibe with queers" on the YFN Lucci song "Boss Life". Why is it that you gotta bash them and label them something they (sic) not?'
And while "queer" may be a word that many LGBTQ people have grown more empowered by in recent years, the context of Offset's lyric is one that further isolates that community.
Days after the Migos rapper caught backlash over the lyric "I can not vibe with queers", his fiancée Cardi B has come to his defense. To me that "queer" I don't mean someone who's gay. "Now, that's a word that you guys say that it's a bad word for gays-I never even heard that word in the first place", Cardi continued. "You don't know how he matured me". Lingo that means unusual or odd'. You have to really watch what you say or you're a phobic, or you're a racist, or you're a colorist, or your opinion is too strong. Director Ava DuVerney possibly said it best in a in 2016, where she argued that the onus isn't on the marginalized "because we didn't build the problem".
Despite her well intentions, Cardi B's argument that it's the duty of marginalized people to educate others on their community is problematic.
