Players will join one of the four houses, and progress through the years as a student. In classic Harry Potter style, the game will feature larger plots and smaller stories based around relationships. The game's timeline is set before Harry Potter himself attends the school.
Before launching this spring, the title will be introduced to fans at the upcoming A Celebration of Harry Potter event at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida from January 26-28. The game comes with a new encounter system where the player's decisions will have an impact on their quests. Attendees can check out two panels with the Jam City developers to get a behind the scenes look at the game. If you really want to be safe, you can pre-register at the game's website and they'll drop you an owl (an email, it will probably be an email) to let you know when the game is ready to go.
