Liverpool to send Marko Grujic on loan to Championship club?

The Liverpool youngster has joined the Championship promotion contenders on loan for the rest of the season.

He has featured in six matches for Liverpool this season, with his only start coming in the 2-0 Carabao Cup defeat at Leicester.

The Serbian has been an unused substitute three times, typically missing out on Jurgen Klopp's matchday squad due to increased competition in Liverpool's midfield ranks.

Speaking about Grujic in Decemeber, Reds manager Jurgne Klopp revealed his plans to let him leave on loan.

According to the Liverpool Echo, the latter is the most likely destination of those six, with Grujic destined for a half-season spell in the English second tier.

The German global is out of contract at the end of the season and Schalke are now resigned to losing him to one of Europe's more elite club.
