Grandson of Kansas State coach Bill Snyder dies


Riley County Police Department spokeswoman Hali Rowland says Matthew Snyder was found dead Wednesday afternoon.

Just after 9a.m. Thursday Police confirmed Matthew Snyder's death.

The Mercury reported that emergency crews were called to a home on Claflin Avenue for a medical issue. Updates with statement from university.

He was the son of Sean Snyder, who serves as the Kansas State associate head coach and special teams coordinator.

According to the Wichita Eagle, police spokeswoman Hali Rowland said that they are now investigating an unattended death.
