Turkish passenger plane skids off runway metres away from sea


Passengers on a flight from Ankara to Trabzon escaped a horrific end after the plane skidded off the runway and down the side of a cliff, said a report.

According to The Associated Press, no one was hurt in the incident, and everyone on board was evacuated safely.

Pictures showed the Boeing 737 on a muddy slope just a few yards from the water.
