Lucas Moura to Manchester United?

Claudio Ranieri has confirmed Lucas Moura has turned down a move to Nantes and hinted the Brazil worldwide is intent on making a move to the Premier League.

In 2012, Manchester united supposed they had secured the capture of Moura from Brazilian outfit Sao Paulo, only for a twist in events as the winger opted for Paris Saint-Germain.

The Brazil worldwide joined Paris Saint-Germain from Sao Paulo for a fee in the region of 40 million euros in January 2013.

Lucas Moura has struggled for game time this season and is keen to leave the club in January.

Moura will be looking for a fresh start after his career has stagnated at the Parisian giants.

The Brazil global is, hence, looking for greener pastures, as he covets to get as much game-time as possible in the hopes of getting elected for this summer's World Cup. Keeping that in mind, Manchester United and Tottenham could be attractive options for the Brazilian, capable of offering Champions League football as well.

Le Parisien claimed this week that PSG want 40 million Euros (£35.2m) for the winger, with Manchester United reportedly interested and his representatives also reaching out to gauge Liverpool's interest.

However, United are yet to make an official approach to the French side, with only Nantes having tabled an offer since Lucas' rejection of an earlier bid by Beijing Gouan.

Mbappe was at Monaco at the same time as Ranieri during the 2013-14 season and last summer completed a blockbuster loan move from the Stade Louis II to the capital that will be made permanent for an initial fee of €145 million in the summer. The Londoners have made contact with Paris Saint-Germain for the winger, but only want to take him on-loan to the end of this season.

Meanwhile, after recently turning 17-years-old, has signed his first professional contract with United.
