The hospital has issued a statement and an apology, and said the incident is being investigated.

The hospital confirmed that the woman was not thrown out because of any insurance issues or her inability to pay, and refused to give any information about what has happened to her since the video was filmed citing privacy regulations. The video, which has been viewed more than a million times, depicts the woman in a hospital gown - she is barely able to speak and appears to be injured.

"They just left all of her stuff out here".

She was wearing only socks and a hospital gown in the chilly January weather, her belongings packed up in a pair of plastic bags left at her feet.
