This summer, the 49-year-old Canadian will head to seven cities across the Asia-Pacific region.

The tour, which will take place from June to August, will also see Dion returning to Tokyo, Macao and Taipei to perform. This will be Dion's second time performing in Singapore - the singer was last here in 2008.

While ticketing details have not been announced, The Straits Times reported that TeamCeline members, MBS Loyalty card holders and Singtel mobile subscribers will have access to priority bookings before public sales begin.

Dion was originally scheduled to perform in Manila in November 2014, but cancelled because of her husband's failing health. Taking a break from her daily residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, the My Heart Will Go On singer will perform at Marina Bay Sands as part of concert series, Sands Live, on 3 and 4 July.

With that the fan then grabs the microphone and growls "don't touch me" at Dion's bodyguard Olivier.

Dion managed to offer some kind words of support for the woman, saying: "2018 we're gonna make a change for your baby".

"Let me tell you something". I would love that, I love her so much. "I'm glad you came up on stage tonight", she told the fan who appeared somewhat agitated.

She is the voice behind smash hits such as My Heart Will Go On and Because You Loved Me, and will be entertaining audiences at the 6,000-capacity Sands Grand Ballroom over the two nights.

"I'm glad that. I thought you just wanted to come closer to me. Be well", she said in a social media video.
