Almost 2000 Palestinians clash with Israeli forces in Gaza, West Bank

Another 16-year-old, Amir Abd Abu Musaid, was killed in a border area in Gaza when Israeli troops opened fire on stone-throwing protesters.

Three other Palestinians were wounded, one critically, it said.

Rocket warning sirens wailed Friday night in Israeli communities near the Gaza Strip, but the IDF later said it appeared to be a false alarm. More than a hundred Palestinians were treated for smoke and gas inhalation after the Israeli soldiers deployed tear gas and smoke grenades. He died in clashes that erupted in the Tel and Iraq Burin villages of southern Nablus in the northern West Bank.

A further 200,000 live in East Jerusalem, annexed by Israel in a move never recognised by the worldwide community.
