One of the Mods, known as the Lenovo Vital Moto Mod, is health-related and gathers biometric data.

The Vital Moto Mod incorporates breakthrough blood pressure technology which accurately measures systolic and diastolic blood pressure. Irwin Gross, Executive Chairman and founder at Vital USA Inc., said, "The finger cuff blood pressure functionality and the direct integration with the cloud make it an exceptionally powerful and attractive mobile device for multiple markets". This Mod is actually the grand prize victor from the Transform the Smartphone Challenge that Motorola ran through Indiegogo. Will you be slapping this mod on your Moto Z phone? The former is called Slider Keyboard Moto Mod that's developed by Livermorium, whereas, the latter is called Vital Moto Mod that's developed by Lenovo. On attaching the mod the phone can slide up to about 60-degrees to reveal a full, backlit keyboard.
