Krypton (Syfy) Trailer HD - Superman prequel series

Krypton comes to the screen from Man Of Steel and The Dark Knight writer David Goyer.

Superman's grandfather Seg-El gets some bad news in the new trailer for Syfy's "Krypton". The costumes are all gritty jackets with the occasional flair of capes, but the weirdest goes to a character who is presumably Adam Strange - the cosmic DC hero who will play a major role in the show's framing device.

Krypton may have yet to hit the airwaves, but the series already has a narrative blueprint that could lead to at least seven years worth of story for the show.

But let's say you don't read the comics and can't tell a Seg-El from a Segway. Adam Strange is a character that doesn't really embody what Superman does as far as honour and justice, doesn't really know right from wrong, but looks up to Superman. "I think a lot of people will come to this show for various different reasons, whether they're DC fans, or sci-fi fans, or for whatever reason, but ultimately it will come down to one thing that will keep people staying and that will be characters". But I'm willing to wait and see how it all plays out.

In a new trailer for Syfy's "Krypton", Seg-El (Cameron Cuffe) learns from time-traveler Adam Strange (Shaun Sipos) that someone from the future is coming to destroy Superman's home planet. "That's why I'm so excited to be part of the mythology", explained Cameron Cuffe on joining the El family. "And now, it falls on my shoulders to save my world". We get to tell a more sophisticated and emotionally compelling story. "It's about how we lived".
