The Meadville unit of The Salvation Army has had people this morning stopping by its location at 1087 Park Ave.to drop off toys and monetary donations in the wake of Thursday's fire. "Whoever this donor is, I just want to say thanks for the helping us and this community". He said, it's something his father taught him and his siblings since they were young.

A TEENAGER with a small wage and a big heart has given away her whole week's pay to buy Christmas presents for children.

Two employees who were emptying out the kettles that night were so excited to find the coin, they forgot to record which kettle location it was deposited at.

The Red Kettles are still out and will be until December 23, but the campaign runs until the first or second week of January. The goal for the kettles specifically is $122,000. For the last 20 years, I have been volunteering for the kettle, and I wouldn't miss it for the world.
