How Bad is PUBG on the Original Xbox One & One S vs

Microsoft revealed on its Xbox Wire site today that PUBG has already sold 1 million copies since becoming available on Xbox One's Game Preview service on December 12.

That's in addition to the over 20 million people already playing "PUBG", as it's known, on the PC.

Many players are finding they vastly prefer one map over the other due to the major gameplay differences, so it is great to know that you will soon be able to only play the one you like.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is enhanced for Xbox One X, and the improvements are quite substantial. Commercial games still get patches, and early access can be an important part of the release strategy for many excellent games; I'm not sure I'd like to see the concept die entirely.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds just released in Early Access on Xbox One earlier this week on December 12th, but that isn't stopping it from shattering expectations.

If you participate in the development process by experiencing the Xbox Game Preview version, it'll help the developer make the final version the best it can be.

If you're in the market for the $500 Xbox One X, yet still haven't heard anything about "PUBG" somehow, the game's premise is simple: You're one of 100 people dropped onto an abandoned island, unarmed, and your goal is survival.

Here's to hoping improvements can be made - if Microsoft and developer Bluehole can fix the existing issues, PUBG will be a must-have title this holiday season for Xbox gamers. To commemorate the milestone, a free copy of PUBG will be included with every Xbox One X purchase from December 17-31.
