Sean Spicer not really sure why Omarosa was in the White House

By many accounts, Omarosa didn't make a lot of friends during her time at the White House.

On Thursday, Manigault Newman sent shockwaves through Washington when she told ABC's "Good Morning America" that "as the only African-American woman in this White House". However, she said that she was not fired, and resigned on her own accord.

The following day he told reporters, "I like Omarosa".

While the Trump administration's surgeon general, Dr. Jerome M. Adams, and Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Ben Carson are black men, neither are White House staff.

She has criticized a lack of diversity in the White House during two major television interviews since news of her departure broke. Her departure will not be effective until January 2018.

"But when I have a chance to tell my story. quite a story to tell, as the only African-American woman in this White House, as a senior staff and assistant to the president, I have seen things that have made me uncomfortable, that have upset me, that have affected me deeply and emotionally, that has affected my community and my people", she said.

Many in the media cheered and joked on Wednesday and Thursday when it was reported that Manigault Newman had been fired from the administration and had to be forcibly removed from the White House. It did note, however, that it had deactivated her pass to be on the grounds. If you're a Trump supporter and you think you've had it bad, imagine being Hispanic or black.
