Shah Rukh Khan and Ranveer's films to not clash, Temper's release postponed

Sharing the first poster of Simmba through social media platform, Karan Johar also announced the release date of the film.

It has been years since Rohit Shetty evinced interest in remaking Ram Lakhan, that cult action comedy, with Ranveer Singh starring as Lakhan - a never-do-gooder who becomes a cop and was originally played by Anil Kapoor.

Though we are getting some Dabanng feels from the first look, it is too early to jump to conclusions.

Long ago, director Rohit Shetty confirmed that he's going to remake Telugu movie "Temper" by taking 50% of its scenes and adding some new scenes in his style. As most of the people know that Shah Rukh Khan's film with Aanand L Rai is releasing on Christmas weekend and SRK is the best friend of Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty, so they finally have avoided the clash of both the films. In Simmba movie, actor Ranveer Singh is playing as a Sangram Bhalerao role of notorious cop look.

"Simmba" is inspired from the Jr NTR starrer Telugu hit "Temper", but Rohit had clarified that it won't be an exact copy, though he has bought the rights. And we must say, we are not at all disappointed! "RANVEER SINGH as #SIMMBA".

Speculations are also rife that actress Kajal Agrawal, who also featured in the original film, will play the leading lady in Simmba. Rohit Shetty and his team made enough changes for the script to suit the nativity of the Bollywood audience.

This will be the first time that we will see Ranveer Singh performing so many action sequences.
