IDF bombs Hamas positions in Gaza after rocket attacks

The Israeli army and Air Force fired many shells and missiles into border areas, in the Gaza Strip, in addition to firing dozens of rounds of live ammunition, while Israeli drones flew over the coastal region. Security sources said no rockets fell in Israeli territory.

They added that two other shells were also fired from Gaza, but landed inside the Gaza Strip.

After the assault from Gaza, Israeli jets targeted military sites belonging to Hamas and Islamic Jihad.

Residents in the Gaza Strip reported that there were no casualties from the strikes, according to Reuters.

Israel closed the Gilboa Crossing in the northern West Bank after Palestinians threw rocks at it during a demonstration, the Israeli Defense Ministry said Thursday.
