Firewatch's Campo Santo reveals its new game: In the Valley of Gods


It's a single-player adventure game about seeking treasure in an ancient valley. You play as a disgraced former filmmaker and explorer, reunited with your old partner for a project that could leave you with fame and fortune-or dead and buried in the sand.

You can check out the reveal trailer for the game from The Game Awards below. The developer did not rule out other platforms, such as consoles, but Campo Santo is scheduling to release the game sometime in 2019.

Campo Santo said that the game is expected to release on Mac, Linux and Windows PCs. It appears to be a first-person adventure game that takes place in a 20th century Egypt, given the equipment the characters use. So Firewatch fans anxiously anticipating Campo Santo's next game have a nice long wait ahead of them.
