Manchester United 'Confident of Completing £50m Danny Rose deal'

The only question is whether Rose will join Manchester United in January or next summer.

The 27-year-old's season was cut short last term following a serious knee injury midway through the 2016-17 campaign.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "Rose has been a thorn in Pochettino's side so far this season, but the odds are suggesting he'll be the first to leave next month, with Man United clear favourites to strike a deal".

Spurs sold Kyle Walker to the other Manchester club over the summer for a transfer fee in the same region but refused to let Rose go in the same window. The star has been unhappy at Wembley and his remarks about the club's transfer policy have seen him get a lot of stick, though he was the best left-back in the top flight of English football last term.

"Danny Rose's future at Tottenham appears to be hanging in the balance after falling out of favour under Mauricio Pochettino".

According to the Daily Mail, Jose Mourinho is growing increasingly confident that the club will complete a deal for the England left back in either January or next summer.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has also been tipped to buy another left-back to compete with Alberto Moreno and Rose would be an excellent signing for the Merseysiders if they could win the race for his signature. Therefore, he is expected to consider a move to Old Trafford beneficial, given the fact that the Red Devils lack a satisfactory left-back at the moment.
