Time to update your schedules if you've been looking forward to The Crew 2 or Far Cry 5.

Let's talk about Far Cry 5, which will release in the market not before March 27 (instead of February 27) and The Crew 2, whose debut slips by the first half of the next fiscal year (before September 30, 2018). Alain Martinez, Chief Financial Officer, talked about the upward trajectory, "Our back-catalog performance throughout November followed the same excellent trends as in the first half of the year and sales for Assassin's Creed Origins continued their positive launch trajectory".

Ubisoft is in the third quarter of the fiscal year, so The Crew 2 probably won't release until sometime next spring, as fiscal year 2018-19 doesn't start until the end of March. It doesn't seem like we'll be waiting too much longer, but the extra time gives the companies the flexibility they need to make the titles a polished experience.

This unknown game is the reason for the delays is to allow developers more time to work on these three games.

Far Cry 5 is set in a locale far removed from the previous releases. Ubisoft said a third franchise game, whose title wasn't revealed, but scheduled to be released either in 2018 or 2019, could now be pushed back to as far as 2020.
