Rajinikanth's '2.0' release postponed to April 2018

On 27 April 2018, we will see a huge clash at the Indian box office. They will decide whether they want to release the film on Republic Day. Raju Mahalingam, the COO of Lyca Productions had announced on Facebook, "Our most ambitious project, Shankar's 2.0, shifts to 25 January 2018".

The makers of Rajinikanth starrer 2.0 have pushed the release of the film yet again.

Made at a whopping budget of Rs 400 crores by Lyca Productions, 2.0 is directed by Shankar and is touted to be Asia's costliest "natively acquired" 3D film. Produced by Lyca Productions, 2.0 is the most expensive movie of Indian cinema. "The high tech post production works are fully geared and the team is all set for the release schedule". Akshay is making his south debut with Rajinikanth's film which also has Amy Jackson. "If they do, I will postpone Padman and if they don't, I will go ahead". After watching the motion poster and solo posters, we assume that Shankar's 2.0 will break all the box-office records for sure! So both the films will clash on 15th Aug 2018.
