We don't think the company will launch the Mi MIX 2 Philippe Starck Edition outside of China.

Last year, the Xiaomi Mi Mix was one of the biggest surprises in the smartphone market with its nearly bezel-less design and incredible screen-to-body ratio. But these may or may not be legit, but seeing how they've turned up pretty early, it seems possible Xiaomi is already setting sights on an improved Mi Mix 3. This handset sports a signature of the French designer Phillipe Starck - who designed both the Mi Mix and the Mi Mix 2 smartphones - at the back.

Xiaomi can be expected to launch its next Mi flagship, the successor to the Mi 6, in the first half of 2017. It is designed by Philippe Starck and comes with "Starck" inscribed at the back panel. Otherwise, it's the same Mi Mix 2, including 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. While the standard 8GB RAM variant with ceramic unibody costs 4699 Yuan (approx $710 / Rs. 46,000), the Starck Edition with the same specifications is priced at 4999 Yuan (approx $760 / Rs. 49,000).
