Rose McGowan Arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance


"On Feb. 1, 2017, the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Department obtained an arrest warrant for Rose McGowan, an actress from Encino, California, for possession of a controlled substance", the statement read.

Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority spokesman Andrew Trull says in an email Tuesday night that McGowan has surrendered to Airports Authority Police.

McGowan later accused Weinstein of rape. McGowan tweeted earlier today about the warrant for her arrest.

The arrest happens after airport police found traces of narcotics in belongings she left behind at Washington Dulles International Airport after she arrived on a flight from Los Angeles on January 20.

McGowan has been a leading voice among the sexual harassment accusations against Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein. "What a load of HORSES***".
