Trump says people using 'Merry Christmas' again


Trump told the annual Values Voter summit in Washington he's followed through on promise after promise since taking office.

"I appointed and confirmed a Supreme Court Justice in the mold of the late great Justice Antonin Scalia, the newest member of the Supreme Court, Justice Neil Gorsuch", said Trump.

President Donald Trump on Friday pledged to an adoring crowd of evangelicals his commitment to religious liberty, as he declared that his administration was "substantially ahead of schedule" in delivering on campaign promises. "So we're going a little different route, but you know what, in the end it will be just as effective and maybe it will even be better".

This and the religious liberty order show that Trump "is committed to undoing the anti-faith policies of the previous administration and restoring true religious freedom", Perkins said.

During a 2016 meeting with religious leaders, Trump said current U.S. leadership was "selling Christianity down the tubes".
