With the launch of Shinji Mikami's The Evil Within 2 this week, a launch trailer has arrived to help people better understand the position Detective Sebastian Castellanos is in.

"With The Evil Within 2, we wanted to give fans a compelling reason to return to the STEM world, a hellscape no one willingly intends to revisit", said John Johanas, Game Director at Tango Gameworks.

The Evil Within 2 launch trailer features all kinds of abominable creatures out to get protagonist Sebastian Castellanos as he looks for his long-lost daughter Lily. Searching for his presumed dead daughter Lily, Sebastian must race against time as the world crumbles around them. STEM is a world that can be bent and broken to the will of a few particularly deranged individuals. The real horror may be the human monsters trapped inside, with the twisted photographer Stefano and the "righteous" priest Theodore both intent on warping the weakened system to their will.
