Missing-child alert canceled after OH slayings

Authorities in Lawrence County, Ohio, continue to search for a man and child who are missing in the aftermath of a triple homicide in the county.

The Lawrence County Sheriff's Office are actively searching for Aaron Lawson as a person of interest.

Upon arrival Deputies found three adults inside a house trailer deceased from apparent gunshot wounds. A fourth person was found stabbed. Deputies lost Lawson in a wooded area. A pursuit followed. The truck crashed into a ditch and Lawson fled into the woods.

Police are looking for a missing OH boy after a triple murder and stabbing.

The Lawrence County Sheriff's Office and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation are on scene.

The sheriff's office said earlier Thursday there was reason to believe Holston was injured or in danger after the discovery of the adults' bodies in a residence on State Route 93 at about 7:22 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11.

No names of any of the victims have been released due to police trying to notify relatives. The Sheriff's Office says releasing further information would compromise the investigation.

"We are in the very early stages of this investigation and can not compromise the investigation by divulging more information", the sheriff said.

A search of the woods near the scene was conducted and Devin was not found. Devin has been entered into NCIC as a missing endangered child.
